Wish I had more time

I don't what took me so long to get out and start taking pics, but I wish I had more time before starting that new job next Monday.  I know what took so long, laziness but....... lol.  The weather's been pretty crazy the last few days. Windy, cold, rainy, and like today nice.

I didn't look up any places to go before I left home, so I just drove to areas or things that caught my eye.   I started at the Plaza, but couldn't find anything to I wanted to take a pic of.   After that, I drove through Westport.  While I didn't see any places there either, I did see two places I really want to try.  The first is Huddle House.   I love breakfast food, and the reviews for this place seem ok.   Most say that it isn't as good as Chubby's, which is practically across the street. The other place is Open Fire Wood Burning Pizza.  I love pizza!

Driving down Broadway I look up and see the KCPT tower, so that is where I decide to start today's pic taking adventure.  You can get right next to it, but there is a fence surrounding it.   It would have been nice to get directly under it.   Here are my pic of the tower.

Football Sunday - Go Chiefs!

It's football time.  The Chiefs are taking on the Broncos, and we are going to rock Peyton.

I went out to Longview Lake to take some photos today, but I forgot my sd card again.  Left it in my camera.  I took some pics with with my phone.  Here is one.

Sleepy Friday

No energy today.   Slept to a little after noon, washed some clothes, and did the dishes.  Hope to be a little more productive the rest of the day.  

More birthday adventures

Been around town a lot today. I started the day going to the Verizon store to get an updated "enhanced sim". Then I went to lunch at d'Bronx.  I really like that place.  Try a slice of pizza or an awesome sandwich.

After that I visited Union Station.  Beautiful building.  I took a quick ig pic.  Heading down to the plaza for a nice birthday dinner.

Last Day. First Day

Forgot to mention.....that today is the last day of my twenties. I turn THIRTY in a little under a hour and a half. Crazy.  Don't know how to feel.

Yesterday, I decided to get out and take some more pics.  A place I hadn't visited was the scout statue.  Once I found it, I had a small uphill trek to the statue.  Google maps led me to a lower road. So if you visit, stay left when it says go right.  It's the last instruction.

Happy Veterans Day

I picked up a new sd card a few days ago, so I have been able to get out and take some pics.  The WWI Museum was free for Veterans Day, so I went to check it out.

It was great.  There are tons of items.  I started off watching a quick video of how the war started.  After that, I took a look at everything there from all of the countries.  Here are a few pics.

A good day in kc

It's cold in KC today.  But, it's not snowing, raining, or anything else bad.  It's a perfect for pictures and walking around.   I went down to the plaza today because I wanted to shoot some pics. Once I arrived, I realized that I didn't bring my SD card.  This sucks because I always want to go out and shoot pics, but I'm always too lazy.  The one day I get the energy up to do so, no card.

So, instead of taking pictures, I decided to visit a couple clothing stores and the Apple store.  I checked out the new products.  Wish that iphone had a bigger screen.  That would make it almost perfect.  When I went into the store, the greeters talked to everyone in front and behind, but did not ask me how they could help. Weird.  Maybe I look like I wasn't going to buy anything.  IDK.  I think it more that they saw me as a customer that probably didn't need help because I know about their product as they do. ;) /s-sort of.

After that I went to Starbucks.   Man this location on the plaza is alive! Tons of people.  All sorts.  It's was nice.   I found a nice corner where I could pull out my laptop, put on my headphones and be cool.  I got a little attention from the opposite sex, which is always good.
